OD6 Metals Secures AU$2.5 million to Advance Rare Earth and Copper Projects

OD6 Metals Limited (ASX: OD6) successfully secured AU$2.5 million in new funding via a placement, backed by institutional investors and strategic partners. The funds will accelerate rare earth testwork at the Splinter Rock Project in Western Australia, conducted in collaboration with ANSTO, and support offtake discussions with global partners. Splinter Rock hosts Australia’s largest high-grade clay-hosted rare earth resource, with significant potential for long-term development.

The funds will also support Phase 2 drilling at the Gulf Creek Copper Project in New South Wales, focusing on key targets identified after the success of the initial exploration program. Gulf Creek, historically one of NSW’s richest copper mines, is being advanced using modern exploration techniques to uncover untapped mineralisation.

With a strengthened balance sheet of over AU$3.3 million, OD6 is positioned to progress technical studies, strategic partnerships, and exploration activities, reinforcing its ambition to become a key player in critical minerals development
