Orion Minerals Secures AU$0.5 million Unsecured Loan for Working Capital

On 23 June 2025, Orion Minerals Limited (ASX: ORN) announced an AU$0.5 million unsecured loan facility from Tarney Holdings Pty Ltd, a company affiliated with Orion’s Chairman, Mr. Denis Waddell. The funds will primarily support the company’s working capital needs. The loan carries a 10% annual interest rate, capitalised, and is repayable upon completion of a sufficient funding transaction, by 30 September 2025, or a later agreed date. While the loan is unsecured, Orion has provided standard corporate undertakings and warranties customary for such financial agreements. This funding demonstrates continued confidence from internal stakeholders, particularly through support from the Chairman’s associated entity, and reflects Orion’s proactive capital management strategy amid ongoing operations.
