Otto Energy Appoints Chris Dorros as Chief Executive Officer

Otto Energy Limited (ASX: OEL) has announced the appointment of Chris Dorros as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 25 August 2025. Dorros brings over 20 years of international leadership in upstream energy businesses, with expertise across artificial lift, drilling operations, frac and subsea construction equipment, measurement technologies, and software. His career includes successfully raising capital, leading global P&L operations, and commercializing innovative technologies. Interim Chairman Geoff Page welcomed the appointment, noting that Dorros’ background aligns strongly with Otto’s growth strategy.

Under the engagement terms, Dorros will receive an annual salary of US$350,000, be eligible for the company’s Short-Term Incentive plan, and earn a bonus equal to 2% of gross returns to shareholders. His appointment underscores Otto’s focus on strengthening leadership to drive value creation, strategic expansion, and shareholder alignment across its energy portfolio.
