Pacgold Secures Farm-In Agreement for High-Grade St George Gold-Antimony Project in Queensland

Pacgold Limited (ASX: PGO) has entered into a farm-in and joint venture agreement with Hardrock Mineral Exploration to acquire up to 100% of the St George Gold-Antimony Project in North Queensland. The 905km² landholding includes the historic St George Antimony Mine, which previously produced 60 tonnes at an impressive 60% Sb, but has seen no modern drilling. Due diligence rock chip sampling returned exceptionally high antimony grades (up to 66.6% Sb) alongside notable gold values (up to 10.1 g/t Au), highlighting strong mineralisation potential.

With heritage clearance now complete, Pacgold is preparing immediate first-pass exploration including mapping, geophysics, and drilling. Antimony, classified as a critical mineral, is in high demand with global supply constrained, and recent prices reaching US$60,000/t. This acquisition complements Pacgold’s flagship Alice River Gold Project and positions the company to capitalise on both gold and antimony opportunities in a highly prospective province.
