Power Minerals Limited (ASX: PNN) has initiated a 2,000m reverse circulation drilling program at its Santa Anna Niobium-REE Project in Brazil’s Goiás State. This follows its exclusive option signed in April 2025 to acquire the project, a 2.5km-wide, carbonatite-hosted complex rich in niobium and rare earth elements (REEs). Previous drill results indicate high-grade mineralisation, including intercepts of up to 1.62% Nb₂O₅ and over 35,000ppm TREO. The company aims to confirm and expand existing mineralised zones, explore new areas, and support a maiden JORC resource estimate. Drilling is expected to take three weeks, led by experienced contractor Foraco. The site offers favourable access and ground conditions, with agreements in place with landholders. Power’s strategic focus is to strengthen its position as a South American clean energy metals developer, complementing its lithium projects in Argentina and Australian mineral assets
