Pro Medicus Limited (ASX: PME) has announced a five-year, AU$$20 million contract through its U.S. subsidiary, Visage Imaging, with University of Iowa Health Care (UI Health Care). The agreement will see the implementation of the full Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform—including the Viewer, Workflow, and Open Archive—across UI Health Care’s facilities. This platform will replace existing legacy PACS systems and will be fully deployed in the cloud, supporting a transactional licensing model that allows for future scalability.
The rollout will begin immediately, targeting a go-live in Q4 2025, and aims to enhance diagnostic imaging integration with UI Health Care’s electronic health records. The agreement strengthens Pro Medicus’ presence in North America and continues a growing trend of full-stack, cloud-based adoption in the healthcare IT market. UI Health Care's vast clinical network, including over 20,000 staff members, will benefit from this advanced imaging infrastructure.
