Prospech’s Korsnäs REE Project Sees Major Resource Growth in Finland

Prospech Limited (ASX: PRS) has announced a significant 90% increase in the Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate at its Korsnäs Rare Earth Elements (REE) project in Finland, raising the total to 13.5 million tonnes at 1.02% TREO. This upgrade, supported by modern and historical drilling data, highlights the project’s expanding scale and strategic importance. A revised geological model and improved assay coverage have reinforced the deposit’s continuity and quality. Additionally, an adjacent Exploration Target of 9–11 million tonnes at 0.9–1.1% TREO offers substantial future upside. Prospech is progressing multiple workstreams including targeted drilling, advanced metallurgical testing under the EU-backed REMHub initiative, and feasibility evaluations. The company holds 100% ownership of the project, located near Vaasa on Finland’s west coast, with robust infrastructure access. As Europe pushes for REE self-sufficiency, Korsnäs is positioned to become a key contributor to the continent’s critical mineral supply chain.
