RareX Secures EIS Grant to Advance Khaleesi Project Gallium Potential

RareX Limited (ASX: REE), a company focused on critical minerals, has secured co-funding support through the Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) to advance its Khaleesi Project in Western Australia. The Khaleesi Alkaline Intrusion Complex (KAIC), located near Kalgoorlie, is a newly identified district-scale intrusion showing strong gallium mineralisation across a 5km × 3km area. The EIS grant supports reverse circulation drilling to test magnetic, gravity, and geochemical anomalies, including the promising Niobe prospect. Historical drilling revealed substantial gallium grades (up to 87 g/t Ga₂O₃) and broad mineralised intervals. Rock chip assays confirmed gallium presence up to 81 g/t Ga₂O₃. The project’s strategic location near major REE and uranium systems highlights its critical mineral potential. RareX aims to unlock the district’s value while advancing offtake agreements and approvals for its Cummins Range Project, Australia’s largest undeveloped rare earths deposit.
