Regis Healthcare Projects EBITDA Growth Despite Funding Pressure

Regis Healthcare Limited (ASX: REG) announced that at the time of writing it has reviewed recent government funding changes to the aged care sector and provided its FY26 outlook. The update follows the Australian Government’s adjustments to the AN-ACC model and an increase to the Hotelling Supplement. Regis expects these changes will result in only a 2.6% increase in funding from 1 October 2025, below the headline 4.7% rise, due to reweighting of resident classifications.

The additional funding will not fully offset higher staffing costs driven by the Fair Work Commission’s Work Value Case, the Annual Wage Review, and Enterprise Agreement increases. Despite this, the company completed the acquisition of four Rockpool homes on 1 September 2025 and reported strong occupancy of 96.5%. Regis forecasts FY26 underlying EBITDA between $130 million and $135 million, representing growth of 3% to 7% compared with FY25.
