These adjustments are designed to support wage growth arising from the Fair Work Commission’s Work Value Case, which covers direct care workers, registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and broader annual wage reviews across the aged care sector. The changes will begin on 1 October 2025, with further updates in August 2026. Regis is reviewing the financial implications of these measures, particularly around the reweighting of the National Weighted Activity Unit and new pay recommendations.
