Rock Chip Results Confirm Polymetallic Potential in Sweden.

Mar 20, 2025

Basin Energy Limited (ASX: BSN) has reported promising rock chip assay results from its Prastrun and Hakantorp projects in Sweden, confirming the presence of niobium, uranium, tantalum, and rare earth elements (REEs). At Prastrun, assays returned up to 0.43% Nb and 0.12% U₃O₈, while samples from Hakantorp’s historical tailings yielded up to 0.39% U₃O₈ and 0.33% TREO. These findings highlight the strategic mineral potential of both sites, aligning with growing global demand for critical minerals.

Further exploration will include structural mapping, radiometric surveys, and subsurface assessments to unlock the full potential of these mineral-rich systems. With ongoing multi-element analysis and fieldwork, Basin Energy aims to advance its projects as key contributors to the clean energy and advanced materials sector.
