Rokeby Resources Secures Funding to Advance Hurricane Project

Rokeby Resources Limited (ASX: RKB), formerly Inca Minerals, has successfully raised AU$1.7 million through an oversubscribed share placement at AU$0.009 per share. The capital injection, strongly supported by existing shareholders and new investors, will accelerate exploration at the company’s Hurricane Project in north Queensland.

The Hurricane Project sits in Queensland’s Hodgkinson Province, a geologically intricate region with a long history of gold mining. The province is known for orogenic gold systems, where mineralisation commonly occurs within quartz veins, breccias, and stockwork structures formed along reactivated fault lines. Geochemical signatures at Hurricane (Sb–As–Au–Ag) mirror those of globally significant deposits such as Fosterville and Macraes, highlighting the project’s strong discovery potential.

Funds raised will support follow-up drilling campaigns, working capital needs, and placement costs. With favourable geology, underexplored terrain, and renewed financial backing, Rokeby is well positioned to uncover new high-grade gold systems in this historically productive district.
