S2 Resources Commences Drilling at West Murchison Yalgamine Anomaly.

S2 Resources Ltd (ASX: S2R) has confirmed that reverse circulation (RC) drilling will begin next week at the Yalgamine soil anomaly within its 100%-owned West Murchison Project in Western Australia. The program, delayed briefly by adverse weather, will target a 500-metre-long, copper-platinum-palladium-gold soil anomaly coinciding with the margin of an eye-shaped magnetic feature, believed to represent a potential intrusive host. The anomaly is defined by strong copper and cobalt values with coincident platinum, palladium, and gold mineralisation.

The RC drilling will reach depths of 100–200 metres to identify the source of the anomaly, characterise the intrusion, and assess its potential to host magmatic sulphide or low-sulphide PGE mineralisation. Assay results are expected by late September or early October. Meanwhile, permitting is underway for the first drilling at the Warraweena Project in New South Wales, with exploration scheduled to commence in early October, further advancing S2’s multi-project exploration strategy.
