Market Alert: Gold and Silver Extend Bull Run Amid Global Uncertainty

Savannah Goldfields Advances Towards Gold Production Restart.

Oct 15, 2025

Savannah Goldfields Limited (ASX: SVG) is making steady progress toward resuming gold. The Georgetown Gold Processing Plant (GGPP) maintenance program is advancing on schedule and within budget, with electrical and mechanical works nearing completion. Over 750 tonnes of crushed gold-bearing material have already been hauled from Charters Towers, with the remaining 950 tonnes expected shortly.

Additionally, more than 3,000 tonnes out of 7,100 tonnes from the Agate Creek Mine have been safely delivered to the Georgetown ROM stockpile. The crushing contractor has begun building feed stockpiles for the GGPP. CEO Brad Sampson expressed confidence that gold production will restart before the end of October, aligning with the company’s targets. This milestone marks a significant step forward in revitalizing Savannah Goldfields’ operations and returning the Georgetown project to active production.
