Scout Security Raises AU$600,000 Through Share Placement

Scout Security Ltd (ASX: SCT) has successfully secured AU$600,000 before costs through the placement of 1.5 million fully paid ordinary shares at AU$0.40 per share. This placement represents the first tranche of a broader equity capital raising initiative, utilizing the company’s placement capacity under ASX Listing Rule 7.1. The funds raised are earmarked for meeting creditor obligations, finalizing pending periodic reports, and addressing administrative and working capital requirements.

The company is also engaged in ongoing discussions regarding potential corporate and capital raising opportunities, with the aim of achieving reinstatement to ASX trading as soon as possible. Any such proposals will require consultation with ASX, particularly in relation to Chapters 11 and 12, alongside the completion of overdue reports. With its securities currently suspended, Scout’s board remains committed to reinstating trading at the earliest practicable time and has assured shareholders of continued updates on progress toward relisting.
