SGA secures funding to advance high-grade graphite project

SGA (ASX: SGA) announced a successful capital raise to accelerate development at its flagship Namangale Graphite Project in Tanzania. The company secured AU$5 million through a placement to institutional and sophisticated investors, strengthening its balance sheet and funding its next stage of project advancement. Proceeds will primarily support exploration drilling, metallurgical test work, and feasibility studies aimed at fast-tracking the project’s development. Namangale hosts one of the largest high-grade graphite deposits in East Africa, strategically positioned to benefit from the rising global demand for battery-grade graphite. The company is focused on proving its capability to deliver high-quality concentrate to meet surging demand from the electric vehicle and energy storage sectors. With this funding, SGA aims to de-risk the project, advance towards production readiness, and position itself as a key graphite supplier in the clean energy supply chain.
