Stellar Resources Expands Tin Resource Base and Advances Heemskirk Project
Stellar Resources Limited (ASX: SRZ) delivered a strong June 2026 quarter, driven by meaningful resource growth and continued progress at its flagship Heemskirk Tin Project in Tasmania. The updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Severn deposit lifted the total resource by 64% to 8.54 million tonnes grading 0.82% tin, while the Indicated Resource increased by 125% to 6.05 million tonnes at 0.84% tin. As a result, the Heemskirk Tin Project now hosts a total Mineral Resource of 13.36 million tonnes at 0.86% tin, with the broader resource inventory across Heemskirk and the nearby St Dizier deposit exceeding 129,000 tonnes of contained tin. The Prefeasibility Study is approaching completion and remains on track for release during the third quarter of 2026.
The company also reported encouraging drilling results from the Severn and Montana deposits, alongside improved metallurgical test work that indicates tin recoveries could exceed 70%, supporting stronger project economics. Financially, Stellar reinforced its balance sheet through a AU$22.1 million capital raising, including a strategic investment from Metals X, and finished the quarter with a healthy cash position. The grant of the Ringville exploration licence further strengthens its regional exploration portfolio. With tightening global tin supply and increasing demand from AI and data centre applications, Stellar is well positioned to progress the Heemskirk project toward future development.
