Strata Minerals Unveils Promising Drilling Results at Penny South

Strata Minerals Limited (ASX: SMX) has reported promising maiden drilling results at its Penny South Gold Project in Western Australia. The recent program involved 12 reverse circulation (RC) drill holes, covering a total of 2,583 meters, and focused on exploring the extensions of the high-grade Penny West and Penny North deposits, operated by Ramelius Resources. Highlights from the campaign include a 1-meter intercept grading 1.65g/t gold at Target 1 and a 4-meter intercept at 2.02g/t gold at Target 3, indicating the potential discovery of a steeply plunging high-grade gold system. To further support its exploration efforts, Strata has secured a government-backed Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) grant, which will fund an upcoming diamond drilling program targeting deeper, previously unexplored mineralized zones. Additionally, preparations are underway for exploration at two more high-priority targets, with activities set to proceed following the completion of heritage and access agreements. These early achievements have positioned Strata Minerals to significantly expand its exploration footprint within one of Australia’s most prospective gold-producing regions.
