Thunderbird Resources (ASX: THB) has confirmed significant high-grade gold and antimony mineralisation at its 100%-owned Kookabookra and Rockvale Projects in NSW through initial surface sampling. Rock chip samples at Kookabookra returned up to 19.3g/t gold, while Rockvale assays showed up to 4.12% antimony and 200g/t silver. The mineralisation aligns with historical workings and regional fault structures, offering strong exploration potential.
At Rockvale’s Achill Prospect, mineralised quartz veins with stibnite and pyrite have been identified over a 130m strike length. Taits Gully samples yielded up to 110g/t silver and 1.76g/t gold. Follow-up programs, including soil sampling and geological mapping, are underway at both sites, with drilling targeted for Q3 2025. Thunderbird plans further exploration as land access expands, aiming to unlock broader mineral potential in this underexplored yet highly prospective region.
