Toubani Resources Limited (ASX: TRE) has secured AU$29 million through a two-tranche placement, marking a pivotal moment for the company. The placement includes a major AU$15.2 million investment by A2MP Investments DMCC, a subsidiary of Singapore-based Eagle Eye Asset Holdings, supported by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank). A2MP will acquire an 18% stake in Toubani and has signed a non-binding commitment to provide a minimum US$160 million debt facility. The funds raised will advance the Kobada Gold Project in Mali toward a final investment decision by late 2025, with priorities including engineering work, project financing, and resource expansion. A2MP will appoint Gaurav Gupta to the board, further strengthening governance and in-country capabilities. This strategic partnership enhances Toubani’s access to capital and technical resources, reinforcing its ambition to become a leading gold producer in West Africa.
