Uvre Launches Maiden Drilling at Waitekauri Gold Project, New Zealand

Uvre Limited (ASX: UVA) has officially launched its inaugural 3,250-metre diamond drilling campaign at the Waitekauri Gold Project in New Zealand. Conducted by EcoDrilling, the campaign focuses on two key prospects—Scotia South and Jubilee—within the company’s 58km² tenement in the Hauraki Goldfield. The project targets high-grade epithermal quartz systems and historic mining zones, with initial assay results expected by December 2025.

Located just one kilometre from OceanaGold’s Waihi Mine, Waitekauri lies within a gold-rich structural corridor that has produced over 15 million ounces of gold. Historical trenching at the Jubilee mine recorded exceptional grades, including 13 meters at 80g/t gold. Uvre aims to identify bonanza-style gold-silver deposits and establish a multi-million-ounce resource base. Backed by AU$5.4 million in capital, the company is strategically placed to progress its exploration efforts and generate strong value from its leading gold project in New Zealand.
