Uvre Strengthens Position in NZ Gold Exploration with Promising High-Grade Assays

Uvre Limited (ASX: UVA) is poised for significant growth following robust exploration results from its upcoming acquisition of Otagold Ltd., which holds 100% interest in high-potential gold assets across New Zealand. The flagship Waitekauri project, located near OceanaGold’s Waihi mine, delivered exceptional rock chip assays, including up to 18.4g/t Au and visible native gold, affirming its resource potential. Situated within a prolific mineral corridor, Waitekauri is underexplored yet hosts historical grades of 48g/t Au+Ag and sits adjacent to several +1Moz deposits. An eight-hole maiden drilling campaign is planned to explore deeper zones. The Oturehua project in the South Island, with historic gold production, also returned high-grade samples up to 9.3g/t Au. As shareholders approve the acquisition and the appointment of experienced mining leaders Norm Seckold and Peter Nightingale to the Board, Uvre enters a well-funded (AU$6 million post-raise) exploration phase, strategically positioning itself in New Zealand’s gold sector.
