Venus Metals Corporation Limited (ASX: VMC), through its subsidiary Redscope Enterprises Pty Ltd, has been awarded a Western Australian Government Co-Funded Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) grant of up to AU$52,500. This grant will support upcoming diamond drilling activities at the Pincher Copper Project, covering 50% of drilling costs and up to AU$5,000 for mobilisation expenses. The focus is on testing a strong late-time electromagnetic anomaly (PW1), detected at a depth of 400m with high conductance (5000 siemens).
Previous ground gravity and MLEM surveys at E57/986 indicated promising VMS-style copper, zinc, and lead mineralisation in the northern extension of the Pincher North Dome. Reverse circulation (RC) hole VMC255 was drilled to 150m as a pre-collar for diamond tail testing of the anomaly. Drilling is expected to begin in June 2025. Venus also plans to collect diamond core samples from VMC250 and VMC252 for metallurgical testing of zinc.
