Warriedar Resources Limited (ASX: WA8) has completed its Share Purchase Plan (SPP), raising approximately AU$9.1 million from 603 eligible shareholders—far exceeding the initial AU$2 million target. Due to this overwhelming demand, the company exercised its discretion to increase the SPP size to AU$ 4 million, with the balance of excess applications scaled back to ensure fairness.
The SPP saw a participation rate of 23.77%, with an average application size of AU$17,082. Combined with the earlier placement, AU$21 million has now been secured (before costs) to accelerate exploration drilling and support working capital needs. CEO Amanda Buckingham highlighted that the strong response reflects confidence in Warriedar’s Golden Range Gold Project and its broader strategy in the Southern Murchison region. The fully funded program will fast-track gold and antimony resource upgrades, target discoveries, and support study advancement.
