WOA Launches Pre-Feasibility Study for Large-Scale Lupin Protein Facility in WA.

Wide Open Agriculture Ltd (ASX: WOA) has commenced a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for a proposed 10,000 tonne-per-annum lupin protein facility in Western Australia. This marks a pivotal step in the company’s transition from early commercialisation to large-scale production. The PFS, led by WOA’s technical teams in collaboration with Process Partners and independently reviewed by MO Consultants, will provide the technical and financial framework necessary to engage governments, institutional investors, and multinational food companies.

The study aims to establish Western Australia as a global hub for lupin protein, leveraging the state’s dominance in sweet lupin production and access to Asian markets. By scaling operations, WOA seeks to reduce costs, compete directly with soy and pea proteins, and drive mass adoption. Supported by its German facility for ongoing sales and innovation, WOA positions itself to unlock long-term growth in the US$88.5 billion protein ingredients market.
