Xstate Resources Prepares for Drilling at Diona-1

Xstate Resources Limited (ASX: XST) has confirmed that preparations for the Diona-1 well in the Surat-Bowen Basin, Queensland, are progressing as planned. The Company, which holds a 51% working interest and is Operator of the Diona Block within ATP 2077, has completed civil works, including construction of the well pad. A cellar and conductor pipe have also been installed, ensuring the site is ready for drilling.

The Ventia 101 drilling rig is expected to arrive around 22 September 2025, marking the next major step in the program. Managing Director Andrew Bald noted the efficiency of the team in completing the groundwork and emphasised that the site is fully prepared for drilling to commence upon the rig’s arrival. The Diona-1 well represents a key operational milestone for Xstate, underpinning its exploration efforts in one of Queensland’s established hydrocarbon basins.
