American West Metals Limited Expands West Desert Critical Metals Footprint
American West Metals Limited (ASX: AW1) has announced encouraging drilling results from its wholly owned West Desert Project in Utah, confirming that the mineralised system now extends for more than 1.6 kilometres. Recent drilling intersected additional zinc, lead, gallium and gold mineralisation, while another exploration hole identified broad zones of visual zinc, lead and molybdenum sulphides, indicating the presence of a sizeable and expanding mineral system. The latest findings also support the potential for further gallium and germanium discoveries along the Juab Fault, creating additional high-priority exploration targets. A fourth drill hole is currently underway to test extensions of previously identified high-grade indium, zinc and gold mineralisation. Laboratory assay results are expected over the coming weeks as exploration activities continue. The ongoing drilling program is enhancing the project's scale and reinforces its potential to become an important future source of critical metals used across clean energy, technology and advanced manufacturing industries.
