Catapult Sports Secures AU$130 Million to Support IMPECT Acquisition and Future Expansion.

Catapult Sports Ltd (ASX: CAT) has completed a fully underwritten institutional placement, successfully raising AU$130 million (US$84 million) through the issue of around 19.5 million new shares at AU$6.68 per share—reflecting a 7.7% discount to the last closing price. The offer received strong participation from both local and global institutional investors. The raised capital will be used to acquire IMPECT GmbH, an innovative soccer analytics software company, while also enhancing Catapult’s financial position and enabling future strategic growth initiatives.

Alongside the placement, the company plans to conduct a Share Purchase Plan (SPP) aimed at collecting up to AU$20 million, giving eligible investors in Australia and New Zealand the opportunity to buy up to AU$30,000 worth of shares without any brokerage fees. The placement shares will begin trading on October 20, with the SPP opening on October 21, 2025.
