Oceana Lithium to commence ground EM survey at Bangemall Project.

Oceana Lithium Limited (ASX: OCN) is preparing to initiate a ground Moving Loop Transient Electromagnetic (MLTEM) survey at its wholly owned Bangemall Project in Western Australia. After a comprehensive assessment by Southern Geoscience Consultants, a review of past airborne electromagnetic (AEM) data revealed a wide conductive zone that may indicate the presence of base metal sulphide mineralisation. To investigate further, Oceana plans to conduct five north–south MLTEM lines across an 8–10 km area, along with a ground gravity survey to better define these anomalies and establish potential drill targets.

Situated within the Mesoproterozoic Bangemall Basin between the Yilgarn and Pilbara Cratons, the project demonstrates strong potential for copper, zinc, and lead mineralisation. Past exploration by Rio Tinto and BHP identified base metal anomalies, while recent modelling highlights untested conductive structures that could host mineral-rich zones.
