Djerriwarrh Investments Delivers Higher Fully Franked Income with Quarterly Dividend Transition

Djerriwarrh Investments Limited (ASX: DJW) reported a resilient FY2026 performance, reinforcing its focus on delivering enhanced fully franked income alongside long-term capital growth. The company transitioned from semi-annual to quarterly dividends, declaring a fully franked final quarterly dividend of 4.25 cents per share, taking total FY2026 dividends to 15.75 cents per share, up from 15.50 cents in FY2025. The dividend offers a 7.0% grossed-up yield on net asset backing, exceeding the S&P/ASX 200 Index yield by 2.9 percentage points. Eligible shareholders on 6 August 2026 will receive the final dividend, scheduled for payment on 27 August 2026, with the shares trading ex-dividend from 5 August 2026.

Financially, net operating result improved to AU$41.4 million, while net profit attributable to shareholders rose 4.6% to AU$41.0 million despite revenue easing marginally to AU$36.0 million. Option-writing income remained a major earnings contributor at AU$18.6 million, supporting dividend sustainability. Although the portfolio generated a 2.8% total return, it underperformed the S&P/ASX 200 Accumulation Index's 7.2% return due to overweight positions in selected stocks and reduced exposure to BHP after option exercises. Management has repositioned the portfolio by adding quality companies including Sigma Healthcare, Pro Medicus, TechnologyOne and AUB Group, while maintaining low gearing and a 35% call option coverage. The company believes this positioning provides flexibility to capture attractive investment opportunities and continue delivering enhanced shareholder income over the long term.
