Shallow Uranium Mineralisation Confirmed at Muntanga East
Atomic Eagle Limited (ASX: AEU) has announced results from its maiden drilling program at the Muntanga East target, part of the broader Muntanga Uranium Project in Zambia, marking the first drilling at the prospect in over 12 years. The program returned multiple shallow and laterally extensive uranium intersections, with the majority of mineralisation encountered at depths of less than 50 metres from surface, supporting potential low-strip, open-pittable development. The results confirm continuity of mineralisation along strike to the north-east of the existing Muntanga and Dibbwi East uranium resources and reinforce the prospectivity of the wider project area. A maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for Muntanga East is scheduled for release later this quarter.
