EV Resources Strengthens Antimony Strategy with First Long-Term Ore Supply Agreement
EV Resources Limited (ASX: EVR) has secured its first binding five-year ore supply agreement with Lucero Grupo Minero de Puebla for antimony ore from the Chinantla project, marking a key milestone in advancing its Tecomatlán processing hub in Mexico. The agreement replaces a previous memorandum of understanding with a long-term commercial framework, providing a reliable feedstock source located around 8 kilometres from the processing plant. Metallurgical testing has already demonstrated strong performance from Chinantla ore, achieving 81.1% antimony recovery and producing a 42.4% antimony concentrate, supporting the upcoming proof-of-concept processing campaign.
The agreement also strengthens EVR’s strategy of building a regional antimony processing network by converting third-party supply arrangements into commercial partnerships. The company continues progressing the acquisition of an initial 200-tonne high-grade ore stockpile while advancing additional feedstock agreements, plant commissioning, and the Los Lirios project towards a maiden JORC Mineral Resource. With benchmark-linked pricing and a focus on supplying North American markets, EVR is positioning Tecomatlán as a regional processing hub capable of supporting a diversified and secure antimony supply chain.
