NH3 Clean Energy Secures $4 Million Institutional Placement to Advance WAH2 Project
NH3 Clean Energy Limited (ASX: NH3) has successfully completed a AU$4 million capital raising through a private placement to predominantly institutional investors, with demand exceeding the targeted amount. The company will issue 50 million new fully paid ordinary shares at AU$0.08 each, representing an 18.4% discount to the previous closing price. The funding is expected to strengthen NH3’s financial position as it progresses toward the final investment decision for its WAH2 clean ammonia project.
Most of the proceeds will support Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) activities for the WAH2 project while accelerating key development milestones and reducing execution risks. A portion of the placement involving director participation remains subject to shareholder approval at the next general meeting. The company stated that the successful capital raise reflects solid institutional confidence in its long-term strategy to develop low-emissions ammonia for domestic and export markets using renewable energy wherever practical.
