Market Alert: Gold and Silver Extend Bull Run Amid Global Uncertainty

Global Lithium to Spin Out Gold Assets via MB Gold IPO.

Oct 17, 2025

Global Lithium Resources Limited (ASX: GL1) has announced plans to spin out its Marble Bar gold assets into a new company, MB Gold Limited, which is targeting an ASX listing under the ticker MBG in Q1 2026. The move aims to unlock value from GL1’s gold tenure while allowing the company to focus on its core lithium projects, including the flagship Manna Lithium Project near Kalgoorlie. MB Gold will acquire select tenements and 100% of the precious and base metal rights around Marble Bar, offering GL1 8 million MB Gold shares and AU$900,000 in consideration.

The IPO seeks to raise a minimum of AU$6 million through 30 million shares priced at AU$0.20 each, led by Ventnor Securities. GL1 will retain an 18% stake in MB Gold, ensuring continued exposure to future discoveries. The spin-out includes the Twin Veins, Douglas Find, and Razorback gold prospects spanning approximately 515 km².
