Synertec Lands AU$4 Million AGL SCADA Upgrade Contract
Synertec Corporation Limited (ASX: SOP) has secured a binding contract with AGL Energy to deliver the SOLIS Project, a major upgrade of AGL’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) infrastructure across its national gas and renewable energy operations. Phase 1 of the project has been valued at approximately AU$4 million and covers the implementation of a modern, cyber-secure SCADA platform across 26 sites with centralised monitoring based in Melbourne.
The contract strengthens Synertec’s position in Australia’s critical infrastructure and energy sectors while reinforcing its strategy of targeting large-scale automation and digital transformation projects. The company stated that the project highlights its ability to compete successfully for high-value contracts with leading Australian organisations and is expected to support its long-term growth in energy, renewables, and industrial automation.
