Adherium Limited (ASX: ADR) has obtained an additional AU$1 million short-term unsecured loan from major shareholder Trudell Medical Limited to strengthen its working capital position. This funding is separate from the US$1.65 million facility arranged with Trudell in June 2026.
The loan carries an annual interest rate of 12%, with interest capitalised monthly, and is scheduled for repayment on 30 September 2026. However, both parties may mutually agree to extend the repayment period on a monthly basis. Adherium also has the flexibility to repay the facility earlier without incurring a penalty.
The company opted for funding from Trudell as alternative financing sources were limited, uncertain, or available on comparatively less attractive terms. The arrangement provides Adherium with timely access to liquidity without diluting existing shareholders. The Board considers the facility commercially reasonable and negotiated on arm’s-length terms.
