Sunstone Metals Limited (ASX: STM) has reported further gold-copper mineralisation from its Bramaderos Project in southern Ecuador, strengthening the potential for resource expansion beyond the existing 3.6Moz AuEq Mineral Resource. Drill hole PTDD020 at Porotillo returned 175.8m at 0.50 g/t AuEq from surface, including 58.6m at 0.66 g/t AuEq, while mineralisation remains open at depth and to the south. Drilling and trenching have now outlined significant mineralisation across approximately 550m by 240m at Porotillo. Surface exploration has also strengthened the geological footprint, with contiguous trenches PO-5, PO-6 and PO-7 defining a combined 698.03m intersection grading 0.52 g/t AuEq. All 26 holes assayed from the recent Porotillo, Copete and Melonal drilling campaign have returned long mineralised intersections. Additional assays are pending ahead of the planned December-quarter 2026 Bramaderos Resource update, while a deep exploration hole at the Limon porphyry target is progressing toward a planned depth of 1,200m.
