Carbonxt Advances Kentucky Kiln Construction and Expands NewCarbon Stake

Carbonxt Group Limited (ASX: CG1) has progressed construction of its Kentucky activated carbon facility, with all replacement kiln parts now delivered on-site. Each component is being individually retested before installation. The kiln manufacturer is scheduled to attend the facility during the week of 24 August 2026 to complete electrical works alongside Kentucky Carbon Processing (KCP). As a precautionary measure, associated wiring is also being replaced. Carbonxt expects kiln construction to be completed during the September 2026 quarter.

Separately, Carbonxt invested an additional US$250,000 in NewCarbon Processing, LLC after 30 June 2026, supplementing the US$250,000 investment previously disclosed. The latest funding has increased Carbonxt’s ownership interest in the jointly owned Kentucky entity to 49.4%, while lifting its total investment to US$9.75 million. The developments strengthen Carbonxt’s involvement in the Kentucky operation as it moves closer to completing the new activated carbon facility.
