Santa Fe Minerals Reports Encouraging Gold Results at Satama
Santa Fe Minerals Limited (ASX: SFM) has delivered encouraging drilling results from the Satama Gold Prospect at its Eburnea Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire. The campaign comprised 16 holes covering 3,705.5 metres, with gold mineralisation identified in 14 holes.
Key intersections included 12 metres grading 2.31 g/t gold from 160 metres, 3 metres at 4.41 g/t gold from 105 metres, and 10 metres at 1.53 g/t gold from 261 metres.
The latest drilling has demonstrated that mineralisation continues across at least 2.5 kilometres of strike and extends deeper into fresh rock, highlighting further exploration opportunities at the prospect.
Although an RC drill rig failure affected the planned drilling schedule, the company intends to continue exploration. Future work is expected to target extensions along strike and at depth, while also investigating parallel mineralised zones around the Satama Main Zone.
