HITIQ Limited (ASX: HIQ) has successfully completed an oversubscribed share placement, raising approximately AU$925,000 to support the continued development and commercialisation of its concussion management technology. The placement was undertaken at AU$0.022 per share—an 8.3% discount to the prior closing price—and included one listed option for every two shares issued. Demand came from both new and existing sophisticated investors, reflecting growing confidence in the company’s strategic direction and market traction. Chairman Earl Eddings noted that the raise positions HITIQ with a stronger capital base as it advances its PROTEQT™ smart mouthguard system, which provides impact monitoring and integrated concussion risk assessment. Directors Tony Toohey and James Barrie have also subscribed, subject to shareholder approval. The funds will be applied toward product development, commercial rollout, and general working capital, supporting HITIQ’s mission to enhance athlete safety globally.
