Orezone Nears First Hard Rock Gold as P17 Drilling Confirms High-Grade Continuity
Orezone Gold Corporation (ASX/TSX: ORE) has released strong shallow drill results from the P17 Zone at the Bomboré Gold Mine, reinforcing its status as a high-quality early feed source for the new hard rock processing plant. The results confirm the integrity of current resource and reserve models, with several high-grade intercepts demonstrating consistent mineralisation close to surface. Mining at P17 has already commenced, with ore planned for processing as the plant enters commissioning.
Construction of the stage-one hard rock facility is well advanced: the jaw crusher is operating, crushed ore stockpiles are established, and the SAG mill is in rotation. Water testing of the CIL circuit has begun, positioning the project for first gold in the near term. Once fully ramped up in 2026, Bomboré is expected to deliver a substantial production uplift.
