HITIQ Partners with Monash University for ARC-Funded Brain Injury Research

HITIQ Limited (ASX:HIQ) has announced that Monash University has secured an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project grant worth AU$799,866, featuring HITIQ’s PROTEQT™ instrumented mouthguard technology. Under the program, HITIQ will supply 400 PROTEQT™ units in January 2026, generating AU$200,000 in revenue.

The study will combine biomechanics and biomarkers to establish measurable thresholds for brain injury risk, supporting the development of global concussion management standards. The project positions PROTEQT™ as a leading research tool for objective head impact measurement.

Executive Chair Earl Eddings said the collaboration validates HITIQ’s technology and provides vital clinical evidence for regulatory pathways and commercial adoption. The initiative reinforces HITIQ’s leadership in sports safety innovation, combining real-time head impact analytics with medical research to better understand and prevent brain injuries.
