IGO Appoints Dr Vanessa Guthrie AO as Incoming Chair

IGO Limited (ASX: IGO) has announced the appointment of Dr Vanessa Guthrie AO as Non-Executive Director, effective 1 December 2025, and Chair-Elect, succeeding Michael Nossal on 1 January 2026. The appointment follows IGO’s Board renewal and succession plan initiated in June 2025.

Dr. Guthrie has accumulated more than 40 years of expertise within the resources field. A PhD-qualified geologist, she also holds qualifications in environmental science, law, and business administration. She has held both executive and board positions in leading mining and energy firms and currently serves on the boards of Santos Ltd, Lynas Rare Earths Ltd, and Orica Limited, in addition to her role as Chancellor of Curtin University.

Expressing enthusiasm for the role, Dr Guthrie emphasized her commitment to guiding IGO’s strategic growth while maintaining governance excellence. Outgoing Chair Michael Nossal praised her credentials, noting confidence in her leadership to advance IGO’s refreshed strategic direction.
