Strategic Energy Resources Completes Acquisition of Diamantina Copper-Gold Project

Strategic Energy Resources Limited (ASX: SER) has completed the acquisition of the Diamantina Copper-Gold Project from Anglo American, marking a significant addition to its Queensland exploration portfolio. The transaction includes AU$150,000 in cash and AU$150,000 in SER shares, with a second payment due upon land access or within 12 months.

Located 280km south of Cloncurry, the project spans 1,800km² and covers the southern extension of the Mt Isa Eastern Fold Belt, a highly prospective copper-gold corridor. SER has also signed two research agreements under the Resources Technology and Critical Minerals Trailblazer Program with James Cook University, focusing on advanced geochemical and geophysical exploration techniques.

Managing Director Dr. David DeTata said the acquisition strengthens SER’s position in undercover exploration and enhances its partnerships with leading industry and research organisations.
