Infinity Metals Expands Swansea Copper Footprint by 47%
Infinity Metals Limited (ASX: INF) has expanded its Swansea Copper Project in Arizona by 47%, strengthening its position within the prospective Nevada-Arizona copper district. The company expanded its mineral holdings by staking 16 new lode claims and four placer claims, securing full ownership of these properties. These additions complement the 34 claims already controlled through an option agreement. Total project tenure now extends across more than 5 km of interpreted mineralised structures and historical workings.
Swansea has a strong production history, having delivered 29 million pounds of copper at an average head grade of 2.43%. Historical drilling also returned notable intersections, including 18.3m at 3.8% copper and 19.5m at 2.32% copper.
Infinity is undertaking baseline studies for drilling approvals while planning geophysical surveys to refine drill targets. Mapping and underground investigations have further supported the potential for extensions of structurally controlled copper mineralisation.
