Patronus Resources Strengthens Golden Dyke Gold Potential with Fresh Drilling Results
Patronus Resources Limited (ASX: PTN) has delivered positive exploration results from the Davies No.2 prospect within its Pine Creek Project in the Northern Territory. The latest campaign represents the first significant modern drilling activity undertaken at the prospect in over 30 years.
The company completed six reverse circulation holes totalling 472 metres, identifying shallow gold zones across the targeted area. Key results included 10 metres grading 2.05 g/t gold from 52 metres, 6 metres at 1.91 g/t gold from 50 metres, and 2 metres at 6.03 g/t gold from 27 metres.
Previously recorded drilling results also indicate a broader mineralised system, including an intersection of 36 metres grading 1.51 g/t gold from surface.
Importantly, the gold system has not yet been fully defined along strike or at depth. Patronus intends to continue drilling at Davies No.2 and evaluate additional opportunities throughout the wider Golden Dyke area.
