Lachlan Star Reports Strong Gold Intersections at New Waverley
Lachlan Star Limited (ASX: LSA) has delivered encouraging drilling results from its New Waverley Gold Project near Norseman in Western Australia, adding further confidence to the project’s exploration potential. Recent RC drilling identified several shallow, high-grade gold zones, including 16m at 5.3g/t Au from 44m, with a richer 4m section grading 20g/t Au. Another hole returned 8m at 5.37g/t Au from 44m, including 4m at 10.25g/t Au.
The completed campaign covered 4,570m across 55 drill holes, with geological observations supporting mineralisation along approximately 400m of established strike. The findings indicate multiple high-grade quartz vein positions within a broader mineralised corridor.
Further assay results remain pending, while Lachlan Star continues advancing soil sampling and geophysical surveys. Planning is also underway for additional drilling to test extensions of existing gold zones and identify new targets across the wider project area.
