Litchfield Minerals Identifies New Western Exploration Potential at Silver Valley
Litchfield Minerals Limited (ASX: LMS) has gained fresh geological insights from its initial Induced Polarisation survey at the Silver Valley Project in the Northern Territory. Three survey lines revealed elevated chargeability west of the historical workings, encouraging the company to reassess the mineralised system and refine its exploration strategy.
Recent rock-chip sampling further strengthened the project’s potential, returning grades of up to 470g/t silver, 19.2% copper and 23.2% lead. Another sample recorded 342g/t silver, 16.1% copper and 36.8% lead. These findings complement earlier high-grade results from the project.
At Oonagalabi, drill hole OGDD003 returned a notable 5.3-metre intersection grading 0.64% copper, 0.67% zinc and 2.2g/t silver from a depth of 49.5 metres. Litchfield now intends to undertake additional geological mapping and structural analysis at Silver Valley before finalising the positioning of further IP survey lines.
