Tabcorp Targets BetMakers in AU$283 Million Acquisition
Tabcorp Holdings Limited (ASX: TAH) has agreed to acquire BetMakers Technology Group through a scheme of arrangement, strengthening its position across wagering technology and international B2B services. The deal values BetMakers at approximately AU$283 million on an equity basis and AU$267 million on an enterprise-value basis, with shareholders offered AU$0.24 per share. Eligible investors can also choose to receive part of the consideration in Tabcorp shares, within the prescribed scrip limit.
The acquisition is expected to accelerate Tabcorp’s transition towards a modern wagering technology platform while broadening its global product and service capabilities. Integration of BetMakers is also anticipated to improve operational efficiency and create additional revenue opportunities. Tabcorp is targeting AU$30 million in annual run-rate cost synergies by the end of Year 2. The transaction is expected to support EPS growth from Year 2, with double-digit accretion anticipated from Year 3, subject to successful completion and integration.
