Turaco Gold Limited (ASX: TCG) reported encouraging drilling results from the Adiopan-Asupiri Deposit at its Afema Project in Côte d’Ivoire. Key intersections included 15 metres at 4.72g/t gold from 122 metres, including 6 metres at 8.71g/t, alongside 18 metres at 2.71g/t gold and 66 metres at 1.07g/t gold. The results highlight extensions to shallow, high-grade mineralisation that remain open for further exploration.
The Asupiri deposit currently hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate of 33.8 million tonnes at 1.2g/t gold for 1.28 million ounces, with around 67% classified as Indicated. Turaco plans additional drilling to extend higher-grade mineralisation and assess opportunities to enlarge the existing PFS pit design and identify potential underground resources. Drilling is also progressing at Anuiri, Begnopan and Woulo Woulo, supporting further resource growth across the broader Afema Project.
